CHARGES AND OPENING TIMES The stated prices will be held for as long as possible. However, we reserve the right to increase our charges without notice. You will note that the all of the 'small print' is at the top of the page where it can't be missed. We want you to know that we are offering you the best deal we can and have nothing to hide.
What will it all cost then ??? The basic options for drivers at Kiltorcan are either 'Arrive & Drive practice sessions' or, for groups of 10 or more, Competitive Events. ARRIVE & DRIVE The cost of a 15 minute session on the circuit is just €25 and for a full half hour, a mere €40. Junior drivers (10 to 16 years old) can take a 15 minute spin for just €18 or a 30 minute spin for €30. For safety reasons, juniors cannot be mixed with seniors unless within a family group . We suggest that you phone us prior to your visit if you are bringing young drivers. Drivers are supplied with all necessary protective clothing and receive a full briefing on karting rules, flag signals, safety and some driving tips before going onto the circuit. When in the kart, pit lane staff explain the controls and answer any queries. Then you are off. During the session, our experienced track marshals will keep a close eye the proceedings and will ensure that anyone in difficulty is given the assistance they require and that no aggressive or heavy handed tactics occur. Printed timing slips, showing all lap times, can be provided after the session so that comparisons and improvements can be clearly seen.
COMPETITIVE EVENTS These are full explained on another page in the site and merely clicking on the word EVENTS will take you there. However, don't go until you have read all that you need here. The most popular events have proven to be our own Kiltorcan Style Grand Prix, (a compressed 'Formula One Weekend') for groups of 10 to 24 drivers - or the Endurance Race (a team event like the Le Mans 24 hour) for groups of 20 or more. Priced at just €50 per person, groups are assured exclusive use of the facility, personal service, electronic timing of all qualifying and racing sessions with personalised time sheets and some bubbly at the end for the victors. Good opportunity for a few photos so BRING THE CAMERA! (We sell the 'disposables' if you forget) Either of these event formats provide drivers with more minutes per Euro in the hot seat than the Arrive & Drive sessions.
