Welcome to Kiltorcan Raceway.

Please keep the paddock and toilets tidy. Waste bins are provided where needed. We kindly ask you to report any issues to a member of staff.

Please do not spill any petrol or oils on the ground in the paddock. We would appreciate at the end of the day to tidy up your area.

When entering the track yield to traffic on the circuit approaching from the right hand side, please then keep to the left until up to speed.
-
Exiting the circuit, keep left and raise your left hand clearly in the air, allowing karts behind to adjust their position on track.

Breakdowns on the circuit, move your kart to a safe position and get yourself into a safe place until the session is finished.

Please remember, once a kart enters the grid area, no mechanical changes can be made to the kart. Tyre pressure can be altered, but not inflated. Once a session starts, and karts are on the track, unless the session is red flagged, tyres can not be changed from dry to wet or wet to dry. Please refer to Tillotson Global Rules and Regulations.
Running Order:

Bambino - 5 min qualification x 2, 4 lap heats x 2, 4 lap final.

Mini - 8 min qualification x 2, 8 lap heats x 2, 8 lap finals.

Junior - 8 min qualification x 2, 10 lap heats x 2, A final 10 lap. B final 8 laps.

Senior - 10 min qualification x 2, 10 lap heats x 2, 10 lap finals.

Senior 168 - 10 min qualification x 2, 10 lap heats x 2, 10 lap finals.

Grid position for heats determined by overall best lap time out of both qualification sessions completed.

Grid positions for finals determined by finishing position points obtained in both heats; total points added together from heat 1 and heat 2, giving you your starting position.

Results will be posted online www.timing.ie and or on screens in the clubhouse. No printouts will be provided.

Juniors Class - We will have group A and group B. Groups will be randomly selected for qualification. Heats 1 & 2 group A will be the fastest drivers from qualification, (group sizes to be determined by entry when closed) Heats 1 & 2 group B will be the remaining drivers. Final A will be the top 16 drivers from all heats combined. Final B, this will be a shorter race of 8 laps. With positions, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th getting into Final A. Final A will then have 20 drivers competing.

Time keeping is key to a smooth-running day; please refer to schedule, please be on time for sessions.

Bambion 90kg - Mini - 110KG, Junior - 140KG, Senior - 158KG, Senior168 - 168KG.

Bumper penalties will incur a 5 second penalty added to finishing time, irrelevant of when it happens or the circumstances.

Dangerous driving will not be tolerated. Penalties will apply to a degree determined by the clerk of the course.

We have a lot of new drivers in all classes this season, I ask that all existing drivers show a good example and help in any way possible. Have fun on track.

Rolling Start: Heats and Finals
​

Sessions commence on green light, stay in your tram line until lights go green. Jump starts will be penalised with a 5 second penalty, this will be added to your finishing position. There will be 1 formation lap, all karts must be in position, in two single rows by hut 4.

If a driver fails to complete the rolling up lap or drops out leave that position vacant.

If a second rolling lap is required, it will be signaled by the clerk of the course. By circling/waving arm in the air.

There will be no warm down lap after qualifying, the chequered flag will be waved at hut 4 and you must slow down immediately and enter the pits.

After the chequered flag is waved at the end of the heats and finals, a warm down/in lap will be completed. Do not come directly into the pits on chequered flag.

Post paddock gate will remain closed until all karts have been checked.

All trolleys must be moved from the front of the building/grids and placed at the exit gate of paddock.
-
No spectators allowed at the front of the building/grids.
-
There will be no bad behavior tolerated whatsoever by drivers/mechanics/guardians.

Tillotson staff attend to support racing only. They have no influence on the running or results of all races.

A driver, parent or guardian has 30-minutes to lodge a complaint after a race, this time is posted on the finishing time sheet of said race results. After this 30-minute window has closed, no action will be taken.

Please make sure you start your kart before leaving your area, mechanical checks complete, this will keep everything smooth and calm for drivers before races.

No running karts to be unattended on the grids. Karts running on a trolley should be switched off before lifting onto grid position.
